Giovedì 2 giugno 2016 si è svolto per la quindicesima volta l'annuale torneo di golf organizzato a Dublino dalla nostra Associazione, ospitato quest'anno dal Powerscourt Golf Club. 16 squadre si sono sfidate all'ultima buca in una splendida giornata illuminata dal sole della solidarietà.

È con immensa soddisfazione che, grazie al supporto di tutti, abbiamo raccolto oltre € 26.000 e abbiamo raggiunto lo scopo che ci eravamo prefissati, ovvero comprare l'ambulanza per il Centro Sanitario di Orussi! Questo farà una differenza più che significativa per tutti i futuri pazienti del Centro.

Un ringraziamento di cuore a tutti coloro che hanno contribuitio a questa causa con le generose donazioni, e in particolare al nostro sponsor: Pioneer Investments, il cui costante supporto è impagabile.

Dear Friends,

We would like to thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts for your unwavering support of the Spagnolli Bazzoni Onlus, not only this past year but over the past 15 years since we started the golf tournament!

With your generosity last summer, we were able to purchase the new ambulance for the Orussi Health Centre in Uganda and it is already being put to great use, transporting patients and pregnant women in the region.

It is with a heavy heart I must now tell you that 2016 saw the end of our annual golf tournament. This is due to the current regulatory environment affecting the majority of our supporters. We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank you for the many years of generosity, support and kindness that you have shown. It was with your help that we were able to achieve so much:

- The construction of the hospital to treat AIDS patients
- The launch of the Cervical Cancer prevention program, where 18,000 women have been screened in the last 4 years
-The Cardiology program, which takes care of local cardiac patients for the first time
-The education of local doctors and nurses in Zimbabwe
-The renovation of the orphanage in Harare and the building of a new school for 205 pupil

Indeed we have achieved so much in such a short space of time. 

Looking to the future, Pioneer Investments will remain an active supporter of the Spagnolli Bazzoni Onlus and we hope that you and your company will too. The charity will continue its relentless work through 2017 and beyond and we would greatly welcome any donations or support.
